If there’s any question that Eldrick “Tiger” Woods isn’t the greatest golfer in the world today, just look at the ending of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Down by 5 strokes to Sean O’Hair, Woods shot a 3 under, 67 to win by one, finishing off his round with a dramatic 16 foot birdie putt on 18. Now get this…it was only Woods’ second stroke play tournament, and third tourney overall since coming back from knee surgery. It was as if you could hear every other player on the PGA say “ohh no” when Tiger nailed that birdie putt, sealing the victory (followed by his patented fist pump, and awkward man-hug with caddie Steve Williams). This is the 6th time Woods has won the Blue Blazer of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and with any luck, he’ll be donning his 5th green jacket next month at Augusta.
